Hi everyone!
Happy Valentine’s Day! Today is a day for everyone, despite what society tries to tell us. Today is a day for love, something we all could all use a little bit more of these days. It is a day to appreciate those that you love, and thank those that have loved you and in some cases even taught you to love. You can be single, seeing someone, or in a relationship to enjoy this day.
Critics say that we don’t need today to show people that we love them, we should do it everyday. This is true, you should show someone that you care, not just on the 14th of February every year, BUT, sometimes we get preoccupied and we forget, we pass up a moment, we get caught up in the day-to-day routine and we forget that the one we love, or those that love us, are right next to us and we haven’t taken the time for them. Today we are bombarded by people, texts, emails, phone calls, homework, work in general, stress, and the list goes on and on.
So instead of looking at it as a holiday for couples, or a holiday that should be celebrated everyday, why not try to look at it as a time when you will make that effort to spend time with, or call, the ones you love and the ones that love you, and tell them something special, catch up, and show them that you care.
Who knows, maybe February 14th just needs to be called Love Day! What do you think?

Hi everyone, and welcome to my second video blog.
In today’s video blog I will be cooking a recipe, Pasta Primavera, that I got from the Nate Berkus Show website. This is something that is great for a day like Valentine’s Day, and since it is my first time cooking this dish, I thought I would share my experience with you so that you could see how simple and quick it is to complete it. During the blog, I will also give you an idea for an appetizer and a salad that could be paired with this dish.
What do you think about this dish? Will you or have you already made it?
I would love to hear your thoughts.

If you go to the Martha Stewart website, you will find some really neat ideas of how to decorate for Valentine’s Day. This is a really simple center piece made with heart candies that we all remember from when we were younger, with little phrases like “I love you” written on them. As always, Martha knows best!
Are you planning on decorating for this special day? If so, what will you be using?
